My book, The Joy of Brewing Cider, Mead, and Herbal Wine*: How to Craft Fast-Brew Favorites at Home, is coming to a bookstore near you! That’s right, the long-awaited release date is one week from today. On October 2, 2018, you will be able to purchase a copy, or have it ordered, at your favorite local bookstore. Then start brewing your own cider, mead and herbal wine at home.
About The Joy of Brewing Cider, Mead and Herbal Wine
This paperback and e-book explores the basics of brewing one-gallon batches, includes lots of recipes and pairing suggestions and contains information on brewing more sustainably. It even includes information for vegans interested in home brewing.
Each section contains historical information, notes on equipment, a basic recipe and then tons of supplemental information. You’ll be brewing in no time with easy-to-follow directions and easy-to-acquire equipment.
Events with Nancy Koziol
Official Book Launch Party
The official book launch party for The Joy of Brewing Cider, Mead, and Herbal Wine kicks off at 7 pm on Friday, October 26th, at Harvest Brewing in Bennington, VT. The Bennington Bookshop and Harvest have graciously offered to host the event and it’s sure to be a great time with free munchies, cash bar (including mead!), good people and tunes and books for sale. Harvest Brewing is located in beautiful Downtown Bennington Vermont.
Northshire Bookstore, Manchester VT
I’ll be speaking at Northshire Bookstore in Manchester VT on Saturday, October 27th, at 2 pm. Join me and local craft brewers as we discuss the craft brewing explosion, home brewing and how to pair your favorite fall flavors with beer, wine and other drinks.
Wine Bloggers Conference
I’ll be at the Wine Bloggers Conference in Walla Walla where I’m presenting a session on Google’s ability to read and a lightning talk called “The Worst Social Media Advice on the Internet (How to get Unsolicited Dick Pics**)”. I’ll have copies of my book and would love to chat about ethical production over a glass!
More Events in the Works
Not in New England or Walla Walla? I’m working on events in NYC for the winter and spring. I’m also available to speak at your home brewing event or bookstore—just send me an email.
